Max's birthday party.
On Sunday 15th of July I went with my mum and my little sister to my
friend Adam’s little brother’s birthday party.It was at the Indoor
Netball courts in St Johns.Max was turning 7.On the courts we were
playing Dodgeball and Line tag.Lorenzo and Vicenzo were also at
the party.After the games we went back upstairs to have some food.
We had lots of delicious food like chips,sausage rolls,fruit kebabs,
brownies,hot chips,sushi,pizza and pretzels.After we did the cake then
we did the pinata.The last thing we did was play Duck Duck Goose.
I really enjoyed the party.

Matariki Kapa Haka Performance.
On Saturday 14th of July I went with my mum,Aunty Ella and my little
sister to watch a performance.There were two Kapa Haka groups and
Maisey Rika who performed.It celebrated Matariki but mostly women
.It was at ASB Waterfront Theatre.I really enjoy the performance but I
fell asleep during some of the performance because the singing was
beautiful.

Being money smart.
Jaydon from the ASB bank came to our classroom.I learnt about visible money.
Visible money means the coins and notes. After that we learnt about eftpos and credit
cards.

Eftpos money belongs to me.Money on the credit cards belong to the bank.If you use
a lot of the credit card bank’s money and don’t pay the money back on time the bank
will charge you interest.

Summary book Jungle drums.
This story is about a tiny warthog named Ngiri who gets bullied from
the other warthogs and jungle animals.She feels sad so she goes to
the wildebeest.The wildebeest gives her a magic bongo drum and
three wishes.She uses her two wishes and they were a disaster because
the colours were on the wrong animals.Ngiri use her last wish to
change everything back to normal.The other animals do not bully
Ngiri again because they learnt a lesson.
