We had to get into groups and talk about what are legal and illegal images and then we had to think about why we need to attribute the image. Next we had to think about the three main things you need to do when you attribute an image, they are the image it self, the creator and their licences. The last thing we had to do was write down the definition, two websites and 1 example of a image on the legal and 2 examples on the illegal side.

The one I did first was finishing off our must do. 5 minutes past and that's when our teachers told us to switched. The activity we had to do was group the all the businesses in the right group. We had 20 minutes to make the groups and if we finish fast we will have enough time to take photos of it. 15 minutes later we finished, we just had to take photos of the group. Book marks|Novel study

LI: To do a novel study on a Ronald Dahl novel

This week we had to create a book mark in a group of 5. We had to make on the same google drawing but were not allowed to copy each others ideas for their book marks. My idea for my book mark was putting a picture of a person sitting down on some grass and reading next to a stack of books. Near the top of my book mark I wrote everything you can learn when you read. next to that text box I wrote reading vertical. The last thing thing I had to do was name it.

When we finished our book marks we had to start reading the book we choose, the book I choose was called the Twits. It's about a disgusting husband and wife who are cruel. In this book they are prancing each other by putting worms in her husband's dinner or making your wife walking stick taller so you can make her think she as the shrinks.

Here is one slide from each task we did.

Math

LI:To recall core skills and knowledge for addition, subtraction, multiplication, fraction, and place value.

This week we had to write down everything we learnt through out the year in our math so our teacher can see what we've learnt. We could use 7 different ways which are basic facts, tidy numbers, place value, repeated addition/subtraction, rounding & compensating, written algorithm and reversing. We had to complete four task.

First task
The first task I had to calculate that area and perimeter of different shapes. We had to calculate both area and perimeter of the shapes that had a star next to it but the shapes that don't have a star next to it we just had to do it's perimeter. When I did perimeter I used place value to work out the answer, I knew the operation was addition because we did one with our teacher. When I did the area I multiplied it using written algorithm.

Second task
The second task I had to was about telling time. There were 4 question there. The first two question we had to add minutes and the last two we had to we had to subtract minutes from that time. The way I worked out the first two times was counting forwards in fives and the way I worked out the last two times was the same way I worked out the first two times just I just counted backwards.

Third task
The third task I did was about fractions. The first question had to with fractions, I had to figure out what fraction it is. The next question I had to cut one whole block into 6 pieces. The last two problems I had to find as many ways to give each side the same amount. The way I worked the last three problems was by using division.

Last task
The last task I didn't complete because I ran out of time, I only managed to do the first problem. The last task was about decimals. The first problem I did was addition and it was an easy one. The problem was 0.5+0.4. The answer I got was 0.9, the way I solved this problem was by using place value.

Maori|Term 4

Today for Maori we had to complete 4 different task in a group of six, our group had to have 3 boys and 3 girls. Once we complete one task we had to move on to the next one.

First task
The first task was called Kupu. We had to to find out the meaning of 10 words, some of the words were spelled the same but they mean different things.

Second task
The next task was called Match the Atua to their territory. We had to match the gods to the thing they control so for an example we had to link Tangaroa to god of the sea. Some of them I didn't so I went to search up what they control.

Third task
While we were doing the second task our Maori teach Whaea Odie came over to us asked us question about us and our family in Maori. The challenging thing in this task was trying to understand what she's saying so we can say the right answer.

Last task
The last task we had to do was watch 2 Scenes of a family talking to each other in Maori. When we finished watching the 2 videos we had to fill out a sheet that was about the videos, we had to translate the questions on the sheet.

These google sheets are what we did and they are in order.

Kiwi Can|Term 4|Respect

LI:To learn about respect

Today was our first season of kiwi can for term four. We had two different kiwi can leaders, their names were Mr Simanu and Mr Latu. Our new them was respect, respect means respecting other people the way you want be respected. Also our new catchphrase was called,"Kiwi can says,"R,E,S,P,E,C,T" find out what that means to me.

Energizer
Our energizer was called tooty fruit. In the game we had to make a circle and then one of the kiwi can teachers will say apple, orange or banana. If they say apple we had to take one jump forward but if they say orange we had to take one jump back, when they say banana we had to spin 180 degrees. When we played the game we had to make the circle smaller every time a person is out.

Activity
Our activity was called true all false. Someone will tell something about them that's true tell something about them that's false. We had to go to one side of the room so the person who asked the true all false question knows who picked the right or wrong answer. Every answer we get right is a point to ourselves but the last questions was worth 1000 points.
