Kiwi sport|H.I.I.T

LI:To get fit and work out your muscles.

Today we had to do hit instead of gymnastics for kiwi sport. Hit is when you work out to get fit. Before we did any exerciser we had to put on our heart rate monitors on so we know when to push harder. When we put our heart rate monitors on we have a number on it. On the screen in the hall it shows our number. If the colour of the background in your square that says your number is blue that means your not working hard enough. If you are on green you are working a little. If you are on yellow you have to push a little more harder. If you are orange you have to push a little more and if you are on red you are working hard. There were 3 stations. You and your partner will be swapping every 30 seconds. We had to make our rate go up so we know how hard we are working out.

1st station
The first station is when you had to do pull ups on the bar. Your partner has to push the bar down so the bar won't move when you doing the pull ups. We had to make sure that our feet stays on the ground when we do our pull ups.

2nd station
The second station is when you have to do mountain climbers. There were 2 ways I could do it. You could do it on the ground or on the stage. We had to do these mountain climbers really fast because if we do it slow your not really working out.

Last station
The last station is when you had to do press ups. There where 2 ways I could do it. I could do it on my knees or do a proper press up. We had to make sure that we go all the way down because if you don't you not doing it properly.

Before we finished we did a squat challenge. Mr Ogilvie will a song called big sally. In the song it will say big sally up and when it says that we had to stand up and when it say big sally down that is when we have to go into a squat position but sometimes after they say big sally down we have to wait and hear it say big sally up. It was really challenging challenge and I was able to complete it.
