Michel Mayor
The person I chose was Michel Mayor. He was born 12 January 1942 in Lausanne which is in Switzerland. He is a Swiss astrophysicist. He was also a professor emeritus at the University of Geneva in the Astronomy department. Michel got the Nobel Prize in Physics 2019 for the discovery of an exoplanet orbiting a solar-type star. He retired in 2007 but still does research.

3D printer
One thing I learnt from watching this video was how expensive prosthetic parts were and lots of people can't afford them.
One thing that surprised me was how prosthetic were made and how much joy they brought to the kids.

Tiny house
I would like to live in a tiny house because I could move my house wherever I want to because it's so small. When I clean the house it wouldn't take as long and the whole house would be easier to take care of. Also it's better for the environment and it's much cheaper to buy than a bigger house.
Cracking the code
For this activity I had to go on this app called code.org. I ad to crack codes. I found this app easy up to level 3 but found the loop hard figure out how to use. I like this app because I really like cracking codes and I think that this a good exercise for my brain.
Challenges
I have a best friend named Chisa who came from Japan. She came to New Zealand 3 years ago when I was a year 2. She couldn't speak any English and found it hard to communicate with us at school. There were lots of people who helped her out during school and it helped her learn and speak English. The way she communicated with us was by writing on a piece of paper what she thought or what she was trying to say. My job was to look after her until she felt comfortable. Now we are best friends and she speaks English very well. I think she is doing great at school. Well done Chisa!
Day and night
For this activity I had to choose a painting to describe in details. I had to look at the painting closely and then write down what do I see. I did this activity on a google drawing so I can be able to write down what I see and put the painting I choose in.
