Michel Mayor
The person I chose was Michel Mayor. He was born 12 January 1942 in Lausanne which is in Switzerland. He is a Swiss astrophysicist. He was also a professor emeritus at the University of Geneva in the Astronomy department. Michel got the Nobel Prize in Physics 2019 for the discovery of an exoplanet orbiting a solar-type star. He retired in 2007 but still does research.

Great post Te Raumati - did you do the drawing or is it an image you found? Is astronomy an interest of yours and how did you choose Michel Mayor? You are doing a great job on the SLJ. Keep blogging and commenting on others, to increase your chance of winning one of the awesome prizes and to keep up your learning over the school break!
