Talk Show Host

When I finish high school or college I don't think I want to work straight away. I would like to play for the Black Ferns because I have a passion for sports. I like running, swimming and playing Rippa Rugby. I might also go to university. I'm not sure what I should study if go to university but I am interested in finding fossils.

  1. Kia ora Te Raumati, my name is Naomi and I am a researcher at The University of Auckland. I was especially interested in your recent blog post because you mentioned that you may go to University one day and study geology including paleontology. Did know that a paleontologist is someone who studies fossils? Believe it or not, The Geology Museum at the University of Otago on the South Island now contains the South Island's largest fossil collection? I think you have some great passions in life!

  2. Hello

Great to see you well on the way to completing the SLJ. Well done Te Raumati. Interesting that you are thinking ahead to what you may do some day. Having good aims for learning as well as sport and recreation is excellent.

  3. Do you play for a club Te Raumati? My youngest son plays rugby and finished his season with University before he went to college and plays for them now...he also plays softball for Howick. Club sports are a great way to meet others and learn new skills in a discipline you like. Keep blogging, and commenting on others, to increase your chance of winning one of the awesome prizes and to keep up your learning over the school break!

  4. Hello Te Raumati! You sound very athletic, and love sports...What is your personal favorite? I like volley ball and netball but I don't think I would like to play professionally. Judging by how passionate you are about your dreams, your future sounds really organised and promising. Good luck!
