Tennis|Lesson 2

LI:To learn how to do a rally and volley

This week is our second lesson for tennis. Couch Peter was going to teach us how to do a rally and volley but before we he taught us we had to do a warm up.

Warm up
To do this warm up we had to get a partner and then sit in front of each other with a tennis ball in the middle. Next he will tell us to do something like touch our head or knees but when we hear him say ball we have to grab the ball before your partner does. We had 4 rounds, my partner and I got the ball 2 times each.

Volley
After we warmed up couch Peter told us we are going to learn how to do a volley and then we can have a rally. He said when you do a volley is when a person it's the ball high and you lift up your tennis racket where the ball is going and you hit it. We practises for about 5 or 10 minutes with our partners and then couch peter said that we can do some rally now.

Rally
When we did the rally couch Peter told us to try and not let the tennis ball touch the but if it does you have to start all over again. We have to count the hits that we did an then we have to try and beat that score. We had about 6 or 7 rounds before we had to go.
