Direct and Reported Speech

Direct speech is what a person exacly said and reported speech is telling someone what someone else said.

Direct speech uses speech marks to show that a person is speaking at that exact moment.

Reported speech is telling someone what a person has already said.

It is really importaint to learn the difference between a direct speech and a reported speech.

Facts to 20

Facts to twenty are any two numbers that are added together to make twenty.
For example:

To keep ourselfs safe we need need to wash our hands for 20 seconds then dry for 10 seconds, sneeze and cough into your elbow, stay 2 metres away from people that are not in your bubble, and stay in your bubble.

Harry Potter and Philosopher's stone

LI:To summarise and retell a text

This week the book I decided to summarise was 'Harry Potter and the philosopher's stone'. This is a fiction book which means it not true.

I had to list three things that happened in the story. The first thing I listed down was 'Firenze rescues Harry in the forbiddon forest.

I enjoyed this book because it was really interesting and some parts of the book can really surprise you.
