Water safety

LI:To learn water safety skills

Today for swimming we did a warm up, our warm up was stream line. We had to do stream line two times. The next swimming stroke we did was freestyle. Freestyle is like stream line but your only adding arm strokes. Our swimming teacher which is James told us we can do rotations instead, when you do rotations that means you have to do six kicks or three arm strokes then you have to turn onto your back. We had to do that three times. The last thing we did was dolphin dives, when you dolphin dives you have to go under water and swim to the platform and if you need to take another breath you can just jump up and then you can go back to doing dolphin dives.

  1. Kia ora kotiro, it is good to see you being able to get the chance to develop and practice your swimming more. I like that you are able to describe what you are doing and what it actually means. Tino pai! Mum
