The Secretive Skink

Good things:                                Bad things:
1.Looking after animals.             1.Sick or dying animals.
2.To work with animals that        2.Feeling homesick.
are rare.                                     3.Being far away from home.
3.Being outside and on a
   reserve.

I think I would like to be a DOC Ranger.

  1. Kia Ora Te Raumati,

You've nailed a good reason not to be a DOC ranger - sick or dying animals! I hadn't thought of that actually - you would need to look after them when they are sick or dying - which would be sad.

Do you have pets at home? I don't but I like cats. Any cats that come my way I like to pat and have a chat with.

I hope to read a lot more of your work this summer!
    Take care

  2. Hi Te Raumati!
I like your blogpost about being a DOC Ranger. Why would you want to be a doc ranger? I like the 3 things that you wrote down for Good Things. You are doing an amazing job at the SLJ activities this year.
    Blog you later!

  3. Hi Te Raumati!,

It's Mele from Panmure Bridge School. Well done for completing this task. I am glad to see you posting these SLJ activities during these summer holidays. Did you enjoy doing this task? Why? Your listed pros and cons are amazing. I love it how you said being away from home, because when I was young I'd never like to be away from my home, so I think that a DOC Ranger job wouldn't be great for me.

    NICE:)
