There are three words that start with 'm' and they are: mean median and mode. Mean or know as average is found by adding the numbers and then divded that number it by how many numbers there are. Example: 2+4+6+8+10=30, 30÷5=6. The mean is 6.
Median is found by putting the numbers from least to greatest and then find the number that is in the middle. Example: 1 2 3 4 5. The median is 3. If there is an even amount find the two numbers in the middle and then add them together. Example: 1 2 3 4, 2+3=5. The median is 5.
Mode is found by orginzing the numbers from least to greatest and then finding the numbers that are the same. Example: 2 2 3 4 5. The mode number is 2.
