Exploring Statistics

We have been learning about finding average group score and adding a data set. These include statistics.

When we were adding a data set we used addition and multiplication because these were the only operations we used the most. These made it easier to find the answer for most of the equations.

When we were finding the average we used multiplication instead of using reapeated addition. Example: Finding the average of 182 and 174 is when you divide it by how many numbers like 9 and then add them together (20.2+19.3). Knowing little division questions like 18 divded 9 can help answer bigger equations like 180 divided by 9 because it's the same thing just 10 times bigger.

It's easier to do addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division when knowing what statistics is and how to use it.
