Maori names | Maori Conversations

Today I matched the Maori names with English names but this time were not allowed to use Maori dictionary. Example: Huna/June, Paora/Paul, Ani/Annie.

Lastly I translated some sentences that made a conversation but this time we were allowed to use Maori dictionary to help use translate. Example: Tena koutou katoa/greetings to you all, ko Moana toku mama/Moana is my mum, kia ora e hoa/hello my friend.

Here is a list of different Maori names matched with the English name.

I really enjoyed session because I was able to learn new Maori names without using the Maori dictionary.
