The Twits is a fiction book written by Roald Dahl. In chapters 20-23 it tells how the monkeys escape and plot revenge on the Twits.
When Mr Twit walked outside he realised that there were no birds on the tree or cage because they were all on the roof to avoid getting cooked into bird pie. Mrs Twit didn't want Mr Twit putting glue on their roof to get the birds, so they decided to buy some guns because Mr Twit really wanted bird pie.
Once the Twits left the monkeys they came up with a plot for revenge. Once they were set free with the help of the roly-poly bird, they decided to use the Hugtight glue against the Twits. The monkeys and the birds started off painting the whole house with the glue.
This is a funny and interesting book that lots of children can read.
