Touch Rugby | Session 3

This week was our third session of touch rugby. Our coach (Mark) taught us a new skill.

The skill we learnt was a two and a three man settle. We played a listening game for a warm up before we started.

To do a two man settle one person would run up to take the touch and then plant the ball. Dummy half would pick up the ball and then pass it back to the first peraon. We did this drill in groups.

To do a threeman settle one person would run up to take the touch and then plant the ball. Dummy half would pick up the ball and then pass it to the third person. We did this drill in the same groups but we named ourself so we don't get confused.

Lastly we played a game of touch but insted of running we walked through the game. The couch wanted us to walk so it would be easier to explain to the kids that didn't know the rules. This game included our new skill.

I enjoyed this session. I also found the three man settle kind of confusing.
