Today I have completed week 1, task 8 for the Summer Learning Journey. I've decided to attempt the kick start task. I needed to learn about my family history.
Before I started, I watched a video explaining the task so I know what I'm doing.
Next, I interviewed one of my family members to learn about their family history. I decided to interveiw my mum.
Lastly, I added the information onto a google drawing. I put the information around a photo of my mum so others know who I'm interviewing.
I enjoyed doing this task because it gave me the opportunity to learn about my family history.
Hi Te Raumati
ReplyDeleteGreat to see that your SLJ is progressing. This is a clear visual of the information you gathered from your interview. Well done.
I also enjoyed your previous post with the trick photography. I thought the one with you pushing the fingers apart was very good.
Kia ora Te Raumati,
ReplyDeleteWell done for completing the family history activity and interviewing a member of your family. It's very special that you learnt a lot about your family and your mum.
Did you find any similarities between you now and your mum when she was younger? Do you play the same sports?
I’m looking forward to seeing your next blog and other creative work during the Summer Learning Journey.
Ngā mihi,
Lauren
Kia Ora Lauren,
DeleteThank you for commenting on my blog. I found ot that we both liked playing sport and visiting places around New Zealand when we were both younger. The only same sports we both play is althletics and rugby. Would you ever try playing the sports my mum did and why?
Thank you again for commenting! :)
Kia ora Te Raumati,
DeleteThats awesome that you found some things in common! How long have you done athletics and rugby for?
I used to play touch rugby and i did athletics, so we also have something in common! What is your favourite athletic event? I liked discus and long jump. I also played and coached netball for a long time, but I currently don't play any sports.
Hope you're having a fantastic day.
Ngā mihi,
Lauren
What a cool way to complete this task! Awesome work Te Raumati.
ReplyDeleteHow did you remove the background from the picture like that? Really makes it stand out.
Keep up the awesome work over the holidays
Kia Ora Matt Goodwin,
DeleteThank you for commenting on my blog! I used the edit tools on background remover to only show my mum. Would you ever try background remover and why?
